Student & Physician Experiences
Under the supervision of Dr. Amor Khachemoune, I completed a two-month clinical and
academic rotation at Premier Dermatology in Virginia. This experience provided an opportunity for advanced
observation and practice in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, dermatopathology, general
dermatology practice, and scientific publishing within the US academic-clinical setting.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with the physicians and staff during
this rotation. They were always willing to include me in patient care and share their thought processes with me,
which made the experience both educational and truly enjoyable. The experience I gained in dermatologic
evaluation, procedures, and clinical workflow will continue to guide me as I progress in my training.
