Prof. Dr. Khachemoune is a highly cited researcher indexed across PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. He has authored over 500 peer-reviewed scientific articles, book chapters, and research papers in top-tier journals including JAAD, Dermatologic Surgery, and International Journal of Dermatology.
He served as an FDA Consultant and Medical Officer (2009–2014), evaluating complex dermatologic devices — honored with the FDA Outstanding Reviewer Award. He is an active Editorial Board Member for more than 20 prominent dermatology journals globally.
A dedicated educator who has directly mentored over 118 medical students and residents who successfully matched into competitive US dermatology residency programs. Delivered 50+ invited lectures and visiting professorships across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Active role in organizing international dermatology courses, workshops, and research collaborations in multiple countries.
